The
beautiful Blue Water YMCA is located at the corner of Third and Griswold Streets in downtown Port Huron. The parking deck can also be accessed by turning from Military Street onto White Street.

Attire
Proper attire is required at the Y. Shoes and shirts must be worn in all areas of the facility. No jeans, cut-off shorts, sandals or just sports bras in the Duffy Wellness Center. Street shoes are not permitted on any wood floors or the pool deck. Proper swimsuits must be worn when using the pool; undergarments and street clothes are not allowed in the pool. Swim diapers must be worn at all times by children in the pool area who are not potty trained.
Child Supervision
Children under age 12 must be supervised by an adult in
all areas of the facility, or they must be enrolled in a supervised program activity. For children under 8, the child-adult ratio in the pool cannot be greater than 2 children per adult. For their safety, children under 14 are not permitted in the Duffy Wellness Center.

Code of Conduct
At the Blue Water YMCA, we expect staff, members and guests to behave in accordance with our mission and values, respecting the rights and dignity of others.
At the YMCA, we demonstrate Respect, Responsibility, Caring and Honesty by:
- Speaking in respectful tones and refraining from the use of vulgar or derogatory language
- Resolving conflicts in a respectful, honest and caring manner
- Respecting the property of others
- Creating a safe environment free of weapons, alcohol and/or drugs
- Reporting to a YMCA staff person any suspicious or inappropriate behavior
Adherence to the YMCA Code of Conduct is essential. Noncompliance may result in suspension or termination of YMCA membership privileges and/or use of the facility.
Guest PolicyWith proper ID, guests may visit the Y three times in one calendar year. After that a membership will be required for future visits. Guest passes are $10 per person, per day.
Holiday HoursThe YMCA is closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Closing announcements due to weather are made on 96.9 FM and 102.3 FM.
Locker Rooms
Womens and mens locker rooms are for adults only (18 and older). Boys and girls locker rooms are for youth (17 and under),. Accompanying parents/guardians of the same gender may also use the boys and girls locker rooms. Adults may also accompany children 11 and under by using the family locker room.
Lockers
Lockers are available for day use by members and guests.
Please bring your own lock and remove it at the end of each visit. Items left overnight will be removed from the locker and placed in Lost and Found. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
MaintenanceIn order to accomplish annual revitalization tasks such as painting walls, refinishing wood floors, re-carpeting and remodeling, as well as annual equipment preventative maintenance, the YMCA will close various parts of the facility as needed.
Program Refund PolicyAll fees are subject to change in order to maintain quality of service. Refunds may be made when there is a cancellation of program services or where membership privileges are suspended.
Scholarships

The Blue Water YMCA is proud of its mission to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. As a United Way member agency, financial assistance is available to all who qualify. Applications for both program and membership scholarships are available at the Front Desk.
Smoking PolicyIn keeping with YMCA health and wellness advocacy, smoking is not permitted in or around the facility.
Steam RoomsFor safety reasons, never enter this high-heat area directly after strenuous exercise - wait 10 minutes to cool down. Use of this area does not promote weight loss. Persons with high blood pressure, heart disease or who are pregnant should not use the steam rooms. Exercising in the steam rooms is not permitted.
