What could be more exciting than holding that special celebration at the Y? Birthday parties, showers, family fun times, and even meetings. All kinds of events are a little more special at the Y.
Party events can be scheduled for 2 or 3 hours in length and the time can be divided between the party room, the Recreation pool, and the gym. Included in the package is a Y Party Coordinator to assist you during your event.

Frequently Asked Questions About Rentals and Parties
How many people can come to my party at the Y?
The prices cover up to 25 participants. Participants past 25 will cost $5 per person. Guests who do not use the pool or gym are not included in the 25 person limit. Each room holds 35 people comfortably; more than 35 may require the rental of a second room.
How soon can I get into the room?
You can arrive no earlier that 30 minutes before your party start time. In addition, you must be out of the party room no more than 30 minutes past the end time of your party.
Can I bring in food?
Yes. The Y provides tables and chairs in the party room. The host is welcome to bring in food and refreshments for their guests. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Can I decorate?
Yes, but only blue painter's tape can be used on the walls.
Is there a refrigerator/freezer available?
Yes, but as we only have one standard size refrigerator/freezer for all programs to share we cannot guarantee space for our rentals.
Will the slides be running?
All parties are scheduled during open swim. We will try to ensure that you book your party when the desired water features are scheduled to be on, however we cannot control outside factors that influence availability.
How do I reserve the date for my party?
To reserve a date, call Alma at (810) 987-6400 Ext. 277 or email at [email protected]. A $50 non-refundable deposit locks in your date.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will receive a refund after the $50 non-refundable deposit.
